Entertaining, Period

VER vanquishes video gathering fatigue and we've mastered the intersection of fun and teamwork.

Virtual Escape Room is a tech-enabled, easily accessible game with a simple yet effective user interface. It elegantly showcases the proven collaborative effect of "escapology" – solving fun but mystifying puzzles as a small team by working together creatively.

Massively Scalable

Events can easily accommodate 2 - 1,000+ players simultaneously. Large events welcome!

Teams strategize to decide when to use hints and submit responses. An in-game leaderboard keeps the competitive atmosphere front-of-mind, and a more detailed leaderboard at the end memorializes this wildly entertaining event for postgame banter!

Completely Flexible

Unsure how many participants will show up? No problem. You'll only pay for people who play.

Your group will still be raving about their experience a week after it takes place, and setting up your event could not be easier. Perfect for office socials, holiday parties, friendly hangouts, and remote gatherings of all kinds.

Frequently asked questions

How do the logistics work?

Select one of our games and fill in our scheduling form. Indicate if you will require a host or if you will host yourself. We will be in touch within 2 business days to confirm your event date and time.

What does self hosting entail?

Hosting your own event is straightforward. All you need is access to a video call platform (we recommend Zoom). You set up the video call (plan for the event to last 60 min), invite all your participants, and we will provide you with a game URL that will walk your participants through everything they need to know about the game functionality. If you are planning for more than 1 team playing at the same time, ensure your video call platform has breakout rooms enabled.

How many people can play?

Anywhere from 2 to 1,000+ players at once. Large events welcome!

What do we need to play?

Just a computer and a video call. Each game runs in the browser with a simple interface — no installs, no accounts for players.

Do we need to know our headcount in advance?

No — you'll only pay for people who play.

What kinds of gatherings is it good for?

Office socials, holiday parties, friendly hangouts, and remote gatherings of all kinds.
